This past Friday, we saw movies directed by two actors, Kunal Kemmu and Randeep Hooda releasing in cinemas. We are talking about Madgaon Express and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. Both films are quite contrasting in nature, one is a comedy movie while the other is a biographical movie based on the life of one of the revolutionaries of India. Both movies are getting good responses from the audience. After a decent opening at the box office, Madgaon Express and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar have shown a spike in earnings.

Madgaon Express box office collection day 2:
Talking about Kunal Kemmu directed movie, the film collected Rs 1.5 crore at the the box office on day 1. And on day 2, the comedy movie witnessed a growth of 83.33 percent, as per Sacnilk.com. It collected Rs 2.75 crore on Saturday. The two-day collections of Madgaon Express now stand to be Rs 4.25 crore. The worldwide collection of Madgaon Express is said to be about Rs 5 crore. On Saturday, the movie registered an occupancy of 17.95 percent.
Swatantrya Veer Savarkar box office collection day 2:
Talking about Randeep Hooda directed new movie, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar collected Rs 1.15 crore on its first day. And it registered a growth of a whopping 114.29 percent on day 2. That’s right. Swatantrya Veer Savarkar earned Rs 2.25 crore at the box office on its first Saturday. The two-day collections of the new movie is now around Rs 3.3 crore. The worldwide collection of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, as per Sacnilk.com, is said to be Rs 4.50 crore. The Randeep Hooda movie had an overall occupancy of 25.30 percent on Saturday.

Talking about Madgaon Express, it stars Divyenndu Sharma, Pratik Gandhi and Avinash Tiwary in titular roles. The movie also stars Chhaya Kadam, Upendra Limaye, Nora Fatehi and Remo D’Souza to name a few. Kunal Kemmu makes his directorial debut with the film. He has also written the new movie.
