3 Body Problem spent another week atop Netflix‘s TV charts.
The drama series from Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss with Alexander Woo, drove another 8.3M views from April 1 to 7. That’s quite a bit down from last week’s more than 15M views but still enough to land it at No. 1. According to Netflix, it was in the Top 10 in 92 countries.
At this point, it is quite unlikely that the series would break into the most popular list, as viewership appears to be depreciating fairly quickly. However, there are still several weeks in the show’s premiere window for it to continue racking up views, if it can maintain a steady audience.
The Gentlemen remained in third place this week with 5.6M views, while Ripley debuted at No. 8 with 2.3M views. HBO has another Netflix hit on its hands, as Sex and the City broke into the Top 10 at No. 6 with 2.5M views.
Meanwhile, it appears Avatar: The Last Airbender dropped off the list this week, indicating that its chances of making the most popular list are not quite over, but it’s unlikely to happen. Considering No. 10 on this week’s list generated 1.8M views, that puts Avatar in a tough spot to earn another 23M views before its premiere window ends on May 23.
On the film side of things, Heart of the Hunter returned to No. 1 on the English-language list with 10.9M views.
Millie Bobby Brown’s Damsel spent its fifth week on the list at No. 7 with 4.9M views, taking its total views to 120.8M. It’s well on its way to making onto the most popular films list, since it’ll only need about 15M more views to exceed Extraction‘s premiere viewership and take 10th place.
