EXCLUSIVE: CBS’ top-rated sudser The Young and the Restless is about to grow Genoa City by one with the addition of one very dramatic dude.
The sudser will kick off the new year by adding Nathan Owens — who played Cameron Davis on Days of Our Lives — in a mysterious new role. Details on his character are being held under wraps but Y&R promises his arrival will create plenty of excitement and intrigue for the locals.
Owens’ first appearance is Wednesday, January 8.
The former model turned actor recently starred in the OWN holiday movie A Season to Remember and has completed production on the independent feature, A Mother’s Love, in the lead role. His past credits include series regular roles on Devious Maids as well as recurring roles on Batwoman and 911: Lone Star.
In 2012, Owens assumed the role of Cameron Davis on the then-NBC sudser DOOL. He became a romantic squeeze for Abigail Deveraux but his most memorable arc was how he moonlighted as a male stripper to help pay the bills. Owens left the show in 2013.
