Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have a huge fan following. Everyone loves watching them together on-screen and even off-screen. They have worked together in Geetha Govindam in 2018 and also in Dear Comrade in 2019. However, they share a good bond and people have been speculating that they are in a relationship. A lot of time stories around them dating come up. The two have never opened up about these stories or spoken about their relationships with anyone.
Vijay reacts to rumours of dating Rashmika
However, now, finally Vijay has addressed the rumours around him dating Rashmika Mandanna. Vijay Deverakonda spoke to Bombay Times and said that he will talk about it when he is ready, when he thinks that the world needs to know, and he wants to share it with everyone. He feels that there needs to be a reason, a purpose and a time for it.
He added that when such a day comes, he will happily share the news with the world in his way. He said that he understands he is a public figure, there’s a lot of curiosity, but he doesn’t feel any pressure. He added, “I read it as news. Only once I felt the need to respond (hinting at the time when he posted an Instagram story reacting to a report about his wedding), but otherwise, it’s alright.”
For the unversed, the incident happened earlier this year where Vijay clarified that he is not getting married or engaged in February to anyone. He said that it is only the media who wants him to get married.
A few days ago, Vijay launched the trailer of Rashmika’s film, The Girlfriend. He showered praises on her and even called her a lucky charm. On the work front, Rashmika is current enjoying the success of her movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule.
