Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora were in a relationship for several years. However, this year, the duo confirmed that they are single. Their breakup came up as a shock to everyone. However, despite everything, Arjun was by Malaika’s side when her father passed away this year. In an interview, Kapoor has spoken up about the same.
Arjun Kapoor on being there for Malaika Arora
On Raj Shamani’s podcast, Arjun Kapoor said that losing Sridevi, his father Boney Kapoor’s second wife and being by Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor was an impulse to his gesture. Just like that, being there for Malaika Arora when her father passed away was also an impulse. Kapoor said that when he has formed an emotional bond with someone, he will always be there for that person, if the bond is good or not.
Further, he said that if he was invited during their good times, he would be there for them. If they needed him for the bad time, he would be there for them. “I’m not somebody who has a lot of friends; I’m not doing this for all and sundry. If that person doesn’t want me there, I’ll maintain a distance, as I have in the past,” said the Gunday star.
Further in this entertainment news, in the same interview, Arjun Kapoor was also asked about the paparazzi culture and how difficult it is to keep relationships hidden in today’s time. Arjun said how people can’t go to restaurants today without being spotted. The actor pointed out how everyone has phones now, not just the paparazzi. The Singham Again actor believes that it is better to go public with a relationship than be spotted meeting your partner secretly.

Arjun added, “It cheapens the relationship. It makes sense to be forthright about your partner in a dignified manner… I’m a private person. It took me a while to come on social media. Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar forced me to come on social media after 2 States.”
