It is the season of concerts in India. Diljit Dosanjh, Karan Aujla and many more are entertaining their fans with concerts in several parts of India. Playback Monali Thakur too had her concert in Varanasi. However, it did not turn out to be a good experience for her as well as fans. Monali Thakur walked out of the concert after 45 mins after slamming the organisers for bad infrastructure and arrangements. A video has gone viral on social media in which Monali Thakur could be heard talking about he bad arrangements made that could harm her and the dancers.
Monali Thakur gets angry at a concert
In the video, Monali Thakur could be heard saying that she is disheartened to have stopped the concert as she was quite excited to perform. But the way event was organised compelled her to stop it midway. She said, “Let’s not talk about the infrastructure and its condition, as that is the management’s responsibility. I can’t explain what they have done to the stage just so they can steal money. Time and again, I’ve said that I could injure my ankle here. My dancers have been telling me to calm down, but everything was a mess. We were trying because I am answerable to you all, and you come for me, right? So, you will hold me accountable for all of this.” She also called the organisers ‘unethical’ and ‘irresponsible’. She mentioned that she hopes one day she achieves great success and is able to take the responsibility on her own.
Before getting off the stage, Monali Thakur promised her fans that she will return to Varanasi with a much better concert.
