Although the forecast didn’t call for much snow, leave it to Lorelai Gilmore’s favorite season to facilitate a Gilmore Girls reunion.
Lauren Graham and former co-star Yanic Truesdale posed for a holiday selfie this week, nearly 25 years after they began their seven-season run on the Amy Sherman-Palladino WB/CW series.
“We don’t get to see each other often enough @laurengraham but when we do it’s always a treat. Hoping you get to see your loved ones this week. Happy holidays,” Truesdale captioned an Instagram photo of the two of them smiling in front of a Christmas tree.
In Gilmore Girls, which ran from 2000 to 2007 and is now streaming on Hulu, Graham and Alexis Bledel star as Lorelai Gilmore and daughter Rory, who live a picturesque life in Stars Hollow, Connecticut while mom operates the Dragonfly Inn and daughter gets into private school with dreams of attending Yale.
Truesdale appears on the show as Michel Gerard, the snarky French concierge at Dragonfly who has frequent banter with Lorelai and the inn’s chef/co-owner Sookie St. James (Melissa McCarthy).
The actor recently reunited with Sherman-Palladino on the Prime Video series Étoile, which debuted this month, following the dancers and artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies, as they embark on an ambitious gambit to save their storied institutions by swapping their most talented stars.
After the 2016 Netflix limited series followup Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Graham reunited with onscreen husband Luke Danes (Scott Patterson) in a Walmart ad.
