Kaand 2010 is out on Stage platform. The series was scheduled for a December 20 release and is based on a real incident that occurred in Mirchpur village of Haryana where Dalit residents were burnt alive and many others were forced to flee their homes during tensions with dominant caste groups. However, in the Haryana Assembly elections which ended in October, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had highlighted the Mirchpur kaand to portray the Congress as anti-Dalits as the incident took under the government of former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
During an interview with ThePrint, actor Yashpal, who plays the main character Bhool Singh said that the series aims to send a message that it is important to protect the bhaichara in villages.

The show also features Yashpal Sharma, Ashish Nehra, Yogesh Bhardwaj, Kuldeep Singh, Raju Maan, Mukesh Musafir, Akanksha Bhardwaj, Armaan Ahlawat, Shashi Kalyan and Deepak Kapoor in pivotal roles. The series has 5 episodes and is now streaming on Stage.
Sharma is best known for his roles in movies like Lagaan, Gangaajal and Singh Is Kinng. This series will be a perfect watch for audiences during New Year.
