Siddharth Anand will be producing the film, and he has decided to bring in Milan Luthria as the director.

Milan Luthria to direct Nayak 2
It seems Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand will make Nayak 2 under Marflix Pictures. Their last movie Fighter made close to Rs 350 crores worldwide. Nayak 2 will be a masala commercial entertainer with the backdrop of politics. Milan Luthria last directed Tadap, which was a remake of RX100. It starred Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria. He is also the creator of Sultan Of Delhi starring Tahir Raj Bhasin and Mouni Roy. A source told Pinkvilla, “The makers have cracked a plot that organically leads itself towards Nayak sequel and has a strong undercurrent of being a vigilante flick.”
Milan Luthria and Rajat Arora to make a comeback
Milan Luthria and Rajat Arora have written films like Once Upon A Time In Mumbai and The Dirty Picture. Both of them are known for their gripping screenplay and dialogues. Siddharth Anand has decided to get the hit jodi on board. The film will be a vigilante-based action film. Like most Sid Anand movies, it will have action, drama and emotions. It seems they plan to rope in a big star, who is a A-Lister.
Nayak 2 will go on floors in the second half of 2024. He is also making Jewel Thief with Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat. He is the co-producer of King starring Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan.
