While Abhishek was part of the Salman Khan-hosted show from the initial days, Elvish Yadav entered as a wild card contestant. Both Abhishek and Elvish referred to each other as brothers, and their bond was one of the most loved aspects of Bigg Boss OTT 2. Hence, people’s expectation that Abhishek will come out in support of Elvish, especially in the latter’s difficult time, was obvious. According to recent reports, Elvish Yadav has received significant relief as the Noida Police has removed the NDPS act from his name. The police accepted that it was a clerical mistake on their side. For those unaware, the NDPS Act, also known as the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, stands for a person who consolidates and amends the law relating to narcotic drugs. It’s a severe allegation, and one found guilty of it can be sentenced to up to 10 or even 20 years of imprisonment. Now that Elvish has been given a clean chit from the NDPS act, his fans are hopeful that he may soon get bail too.
