Comedian Sunil Pal criticises Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui, Bassi and others; says ‘They don’t understand real comedy’



Comedian Sunil Pal has been one of the best. He rose to fame post his stint in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He has a massive fan following and everyone still loves him. Recently, we saw Sunil Pal criticising Kapil Sharma for moving his show to OTT. He criticised the upcoming show, The Great Indian Kapil Show for using inappropriate and vulgar language for the show’s promotion. The Great Indian Kapil Show also has Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Rajeev Thakur, Krushna Abhishek and Archana Puran Singh. Sunil Pal criticises Munawar Faruqui and other comedians

Sunil Pal spoke to Telly Chakkar about stand-up comedy these days. He said that they considered stage as their temple and it is because of the audience that they earning their livelihood but things that are shown these days are vague. He added, “Because just like terrorists, these people are spreading negativity, inflicting mud on our value system and the youth today which is so literate, they are degrading them.” He further added comedians like Munawar Faruqui and Bassi should not be termed as comedians as they are just abusive in nature and do not understand real comedy.

He shared that the way stand-ups are held using so much of abusive language, a drunk watchman of a building would have better jokes than them. He added that he would not use such abusive words even if given Rs. 100 crores. He also said that because of such artists, genuine artists have to face the wrath of the people.
