Rupali Ganguly reveals the changes she has undergone after portraying Anu

Rupali Ganguly shares a great bond with Rajan Shahi and the DKP team. She recently attended the Iftar party, which was hosted by Rajan Shahi and the team yesterday (April 8). Along with celebrating Iftar, the team also celebrated her birthday, which was on April 5. Sharing her gratitude toward the production house, Rupali stated in an interview with Telly Masala that it was very sweet of the team to celebrate her birthday. In the same interview she also mentioned how she has gone through a lot of changes since she started essaying the role of Anu. She explained that she has realized the value of self-love and positivity. She also emphasized that she doesn’t say such things just for the sake of it; she actually believes in them and adheres to them in her real life. Rupali then said she is quite aware that along with her, the character of Anu has inspired a lot of women.

One of the prominent reasons why Rajan Shahi cast Rupali as Anu was along with being a great actress, the producer felt that Rupali also looks like Anu in real life. Back then when Rajan met her, she was not in great shape and requested the producer to allot her some time so that she could shed those extra kilos. Rajan stated that he doesn’t want her to lose weight and her current appearance is perfect to portray the role of a mother on screen.
