Ajay Devgn makes a few films a year. But every time it comes on screens, he makes sure fans get entertained. He did so with Shaitaan which had Jyothika and R Madhavan with him. And now, he has joined hands with another South Indian beauty Priyamani for Maidaan. Talking about Maidaan, the movie spans the 1950s to 1960s time frame when Indians wanted to make a mark in sports, especially in Football. While India does make a mark, the initial struggle during the decade is the highlight of the movie.

All you need to know about Maidaan movie
Amit Ravindernath Sharma directed the movie. Akash Chawla, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Boney Kapoor have produced the movie under the banner of Bayview Projects and Fresh Lime Films alongside Zee Studios. As per IMDb credits, Akash and Arunava worked on the story while Saiwyn Quadras, Aman Rai and Atul Sahi adapted the screenplay of Maidaan. Sidhant Mago and Ritesh Shah worked on dialogues in the newly released movie. AR Rahman produced the music for the movie with Manoj Muntashir giving lyrics.
