Bade Miyan Chote Miyan: The Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer is all set to hit theaters on 10th April 2024. Although the trailer has received a humongous response and people are certainly quite excited for the release of the film, one cannot also underestimate the box office pressure on the film. Both Akshay and Tiger, although renowned actors, have had their last few films fail miserably at the box office. In such a scenario, how is the captain of the ship, director Ali Abbas Zafar, dealing with the box office pressure, especially when his lead actors past films have not been box office successes?

Ali Abbas Zafar on box office pressure after setbacks of Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff’s previous films
Shedding light on the above question, Ali Abbas Zafar, in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Life, said, “Whether it’s box office pressure or whether it’s the pressure of two stars who are known for action, getting a big hit is somewhere or the other subconsciously a pressure. But you see, I feel extremely happy with the way the film has turned out. The way Akshay sir and Tiger’s fans reacted to it (the trailer), it gave a lot of confidence because I believe somewhere or the other they were waiting for their heroes to be presented like this.”
He further added, “So, I have so much confidence that when the film releases, all these people will come in and they will find that what they have seen in the trailer is just a snippet of what they will actually see in the theatre. Akshay Kumar sir’s career spans over 30 years, and he is known as an action star. Tiger Shroff is fairly young, but he is also known as an action star, and I am bringing them together in their A game. Also, Prithviraj’s presence adds more credibility to this combination and film. So we are hoping that all these factors combined will certainly work for the film.”
