Ali Abbas Zafar reveals why Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff were the sole choices for the film
Emphasizing on the fact that both Akshay and Tiger can pull off action beautifully as they both are martial artists too, Ali said, ”The great thing with Akshay sir and Tiger is that the whole action genre becomes special because they are martial artists. Sometimes that action can look spectacularly wow, it’s like Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan in a film. With them in the film, you can actually push the bars. Let’s hope when the film releases, people feel the same.”
On being asked whether Akshay and Tiger were always the original choice for the film, Ali said, ”Yes, they were the original choice for the film. Because it’s designed as a quintessential action film. It’s designed as a film where they both are not of the same age. One is older, one is younger. They have a very love-hate relationship between them, that’s the banter the characters need to share. So yes, they were always the sole choices for the film.”
Talking about Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming new film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the film stars an ensemble cast. Apart from Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the deadly antagonist. Alaya F, Manushi Chhillar, and Sonakshi Sinha are the female leads of the film.
