EXCLUSIVE: All American will welcome even more new faces for its seventh season.
Lauryn Hardy, Terayle Hill, and Sasha Lance are all set to recur in the upcoming 13-episode installment of the CW drama.
They will join previously announced incoming cast including Osy Ikhile, Nathaniel McIntyre and Elijah M. Cooper, as well as returning series regulars Michael Evans Behling, Greta Onieogou, and Bre-Z. Antonio J. Bell and Alexis Chikaeze are also being upped to series regulars for Season 7.
Hardy will play Tori, the head cheerleader at Beverly High and a competitive athlete. She’s the first friend KJ (played by McIntyre) makes at Beverly and is never afraid to speak up for herself or fight for what she wants.
Hill is set to portray Marqui Edwards, the charming yet dangerous father of Khalil (Bell). A gang member and single father at 16 years old, Marqui grew up alongside his son. But now that Khalil is a teen with a mind of his own, their relationship has grown more complicated.
Last but not least, Lance will play Breonna Strong, a brilliant and passionate law school associate professor, who’s unapologetic in how she moves through life. Her unique approach to law opens a whole new world for Coop (Bre-Z).
A reset was inevitable for this series, after Daniel Ezra exited his role as Spencer James at the end of last season. He and Samantha Logan, whose arcs came to a close in Season 6 after their characters got married, are both expected to make guest appearances. Ezra is also expected to direct this season.
According to the official logline, “Season 7 is taking it back to where it all began: Beverly Hills High and South Crenshaw High. It’s the same heart, same NFL dream, same crosstown rivalry, same messy hormones, ushered in by a new generation of LA teens, a new Beverly Coach and our OG vortex fam, who are surprised to find they’re supposed to be the responsible adults now.”
The series is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios, with executive producers Nkechi Okoro Carroll, who serves as showrunner, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Jameal Turner, Mike Herro, and David Strauss.
Hardy began her career on the stage as Young Nala in Disney’s The Lion King in Las Vegas. Her TV credits include 9-1-1 (Fox), Family Reunion (Netflix), The Politician (Netflix), Criminal Minds (CBS), The Middle (ABC), and The Affair (Showtime). She is represented by CESD and Rebel Creative Group.
Hill was most recently a series regular in Step Up High Water on Starz. He can also be seen in Netflix’s Cobra Kai, as well as Judas and the Black Messiah and Love, Simon. He is represented by The Talent Connect and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
Lance is now stepping back in front of the camera after a hiatus to build her production and hospitality collective, The Pavé Group.
