In a shocking turn of events, yesterday morning, two unknown assailants fired at Salman Khan‘s residence Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. The gunshots were fired at around 4:55 am, as per media reports. The sudden house firing has come as a huge shock to everyone from and outside the industry. Salman Khan is one of the most loved stars and after this incident, his family members, well-wishers and fans all expressed concern over the superstar’s security. And even AICWA has taken a stand for Salman’s safety.

Salman Khan house firing: All India Cine Workers Association make appeal to PM Narendra Modi

A report in Pinkvilla states that AICWA has dropped a statement following the house firing incident at Salman Khan‘s residence. The portal quotes a news wire agency sharing a statement which said that the All India Cine Workers Association has appealed to PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to look into the matter and bring the culprits to Swift justice. The statement began with the backdrop of the incident and talked about how Salman Khan is now just a popular actor in India but is also known for his contribution worldwide. They expressed concerns over the fact that the locality where the Sikandar lives is one of the most VIP areas in Mumbai. They mention that it also adds to the risk of other citizens living in the area. The statement also talked about the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections and expressed concerns over gangsters firing shots without a care in the world. All India Cine Workers Association statement after Salman Khan house firing incident

Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi reportedly confessed to being behind the attack and also threatened that it was just a trailer. The AICWA talked about how this shocking incident has left everyone in the industry worried about their safety. They talked about how this incident could also affect others wherein gangsters could use this opportunity for extortion. “The All Indian Cine Workers Association stands with actor Salman Khan and his family because Salman Khan is a part of our family (Bollywood).” the statement reads while concluding that action is required to prevent more such incidents.

As per reports, the case has been transferred to Mumbai Crime Branch and more than 10 teams are looking into the matter.
