After asking for more decorations on set and expressing his preference for ancient Roman Saturnalia celebrations over Christmas, this weekend’s Saturday Night Live host Martin Short had one last demand: a better script.

“This is drivel!” the Only Murders in the Building star shouts in a new promo before storming off stage.

The first promo for the former castmember’s hosting stint saw him holding forth on what he’ll be getting his celeb pals for Christmas, including Colin Jost, Al Pacino and something special for Only Murders co-star Steve Martin. You can watch it here.
