Allu Arjun‘s father, Nagarjuna, and the entire Tollywood team decided to meet Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in the wake of the row over stampede at a theatre during the premier show of Sukumar directorial Pushpa 2: The Rule. Film producers Suresh Baby, KL Narayana, Damodhar, BVSN Prasad, Chinna Babu, Sudhakar Reddy, film directors Kortala Siva, Anil Ravipudi, K Raghavendra Rao, Prashanth Varma and Nagarjuna, Shiva Balaji, Venkatesh are among people who will meet Telangana CM Revanth Reddy at ICCC building in Hyderabad today.
Reportedly, Chiranjeevi, who is also the uncle of Allu Arjun will also be a part of the delegation. Dil Raju who spoke his heart out to the media at KIMS Hospital, after visiting the child who got injured in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4 had said that the director and producers would be part of the delegation. He said, ‘We have communicated to all. Those who are available in the city will attend the meeting’.
He even said that after the meeting things will be clear when asked if they will discuss the issue related to the stampede. He was also asked if the decision of the government not to allow benefit shows and increase in cinema ticket rates for new releases. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister for Roads and Buildings and Cinematography Komatireddy Venkat Reddy will also be part of the meeting.
Dil Raju said that they were happy as Sri Tej was showing a fast recovery. He also added saying, Allu Arjun, Mythri Movies and director Sukumar have given Rs 2 crore to the family of Revati who lost her life during the stampede. He also said that they would make sure that the money given to them would be utilized to secure the future of the boy, his sister and their father.
However, Congress MLA R Bhoopathi Reddy issued a warning to Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun and said that he would not tolerate any criticism against CM Revanth.
