Pushpa 2’s teaser has got a massive reception on YouTube. As of now, Allu Arjun is wrapping up his last portions for the Sukumar film. Pushpa 2 is going to release in the month of August 2024. We had heard that Allu Arjun wants his film to be on par with RRR when it comes to visuals and scale. It looks like the makers have opened all their purse strings for this movie. Sukumar who is known for his visually rich films is ready to present an epic experience at the theatres. It seems the makers have spent Rs 60 crores for a six-minute scene. The sequence was filmed in a month. It seems the Gangamma Jatara performance is a part of that scene.

Is Pushpa 2 made on a budget similar to RRR?
RRR is the most expensive Telugu film to be released so far. It was made on a reported budget of Rs 550 crores. Now, news is coming in that Pushpa 2 is made on an almost similar budget. The makers have spent around Rs 500 crores for the film. Hindi music giant T-Series had bought the global music rights and Hindi satellite rights for Rs 60 crores. It is also said that Star Maa has purchased the satellite rights for the Telugu belt. For the OTT space, it is being said that Netflix has bought the digital streaming rights for Rs 100 crores. This is lower than Salaar that was sold at a reported Rs 162 crores, and RRR at Rs 350 crores.

The first teaser came on the birthday of Allu Arjun, which was on April 8, 2024. Allu Arjun wrote on X, “I thank each and everyone of you for the birthday wishes! My heart is full of gratitude. Please take this teaser as my way of saying thank you!”
