‘Blue Bloods’ Finale Delivers Season High For CBS

Blue Bloods came to an end last week after 14 seasons and it seems that fans paid attention.

The CBS drama hit a season high, according to the network with an average of 6.68M live+same day viewers, according to data from VideoAmp.

The network and VideoAmp claimed that the finale episode “could surpass” 11.4M viewers across its first seven days.

Fans returned to the Tom Selleck-fronted show as it headed towards its finale, posting growth two weeks in a row; up 11% for its November 29 and December 6 episodes and up 5% for the finale, which was up 15% in live+same day averages across the season, and up 3% from last season’s finale.

Note that CBS is using VideoAmp data as its parent company Paramount has still not settled its dispute with Nielsen.

Blue Bloods ended with all hands on deck for the Reagan family, as they raced to stop deadly mayhem in the city when the gangs of New York united together to demand amnesty for the release of their imprisoned members and those awaiting trial.

Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan and Will Estes star alongside Selleck.

Blue Bloods is produced by CBS Studios
