EXCLUSIVE: Bob Yari’s Magenta Light Studios has added six senior executives to its corporate suite including David McPherson, President of Television; David Spiegelman, President of Television & Digital Distribution; Christine Manna, President of Digital; Amanda Harvey, President of Film; Sandy Solowitz, President of Post Production and C.J. Vranca, Head of Business & Legal Affairs.
McPherson is a veteran as an executive and producer spanning across music, film and television. Most notably he served as EVP Sony Music, and VP Development, One Louder Productions TV.
Spiegelman recently served as President of Domestic Television Distribution at STX Entertainment. Prior to that he held similar positions at EuropaCorp, Relativity, The Weinstein Company and New Line Cinema.
Manna is a vet in the home entertainment space for independent film and has set up TVOD/PVOD television distribution deals for companies such as New Line Cinema, Weinstein Co, Relativity, Europa and STX.
Harvey previously produced such movies as Papa: Hemingway in Cuba and the upcoming Summerhouse.
Vranca built her career in business and legal affairs at Funny Or Die, Bunim/Murray Productions, All3Media America, Yari Film Group, Paradigm Talent Agency and practiced law at the entertainment law firm, Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, et al. where she repped writers, directors, actors, producers, and production companies.

Magenta Light Studios is a new film and TV production and distribution company formed by Yari, who produced 2004’s Crash which became a Best Picture Oscar winner. Yari serves as an EP on Paramount+’s Taylor Sheridan storytelling universe, centered around Yellowstone and its many spinoffs. Recent EP credits for Yari include Landman, Lioness, The Agency and Tulsa King among others.
Magenta Light Studios’ latest projects include the release of JT Mollner’s critically acclaimed cat-and-mouse thriller Strange Darling, which was nominated for seven Saturn Awards, starring Willa Fitzgerald and Kyle Gallner and Ed Kaplan’s Summerhouse starring Malcolm McDowell and Jacob Ward with many more exciting projects to come.
