Boney Kapoor reveals how he’s managing being a single dad to  Arjun, Janhvi, Khushi, Anshula since their mothers’ passing [Exclusive]

Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Anshula Kapoor were never a perfect family from the start. Arjun and Anshula, who were Boney Kapoor’s children with his first wife Mona Kapoor, maintained a safe distance from Khushi and Janhvi, who are Boney Kapoor’s children with Sridevi. Ironically, after Sridevi’s death in 2018, Arjun and Anshula decided to be there for Khushi and Janhvi, thus forming a close bond as siblings. However, the real struggle has been for Boney Kapoor, who is not only dealing with Sridevi’s demise but also single-handedly parenting his kids. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Life, Boney Kapoor opens up about how he is managing being a single dad to his four kids. Reflecting on his journey as a single parent, Boney Kapoor said, ‘My grief, I don’t share it with anybody, and I believe it will always stay with me. But yes, I make sure that Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi, and Khushi don’t go through the kind of grief that children usually experience when they lose a parent. I try to give them as much love as possible.’ Also Read – Karan Johar advised Kusha Kapila to divorce her husband; made this major statement on sexual infidelity [WATCH]

He further added, ‘I try to be their friend, mentor, mother, father, and guide. Of course, at times, it does become difficult. I am wearing too many hats right now. But the best part is that all my kids get along like a house on fire. In fact, as a family, we have taken holidays together, once in London and once in Singapore. Arjun was there for two days, but Anshula, Janhvi, Khushi, and I were there for a week. So, it’s been a good journey so far, and I am sure it will continue to be like that because all my children are sensible; they understand where I am coming from, they understand where they are coming from, and we try to make the best out of it.’

On the work front, Boney Kapoor’s next film, Maidaan, will be releasing on 10th April 2024. Boney is donning the producer’s hat for the Ajay Devgn starrer
