Vanderpump Rules star DJ James Kennedy was arrested on Tuesday night for domestic violence.
Burbank police say Kennedy was taken into custody on December 10 at about 11:30 p.m. after they received a call “regarding an argument between a man and a woman.”
Once authorities arrived at the residence, they “determined it was a domestic incident,” which led to Kennedy being detained.
Kennedy was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence, and TMZ reports that he was released after posting a $20,000 bail with charges on the incident still pending.
The reality TV star-turned-DJ has been dating fellow Bravo star Ally Lewber, chronicling their romance in front of cameras. Kennedy and Lewber attended a holiday party at Kathy Hilton’s house in Bel Air on Tuesday night.
Sources at the party allege they saw Kennedy acting erratic, and after getting his car to leave the event, the SUV stopped in the middle of the street outside Hilton’s driveway. Kennedy poked his head out from the vehicle’s passenger side and started yelling for Lewber, who was still inside Hilton’s house. However, it is unclear if Kennedy and Lewber left together.
After news of Kennedy’s arrest broke, former girlfriend and The Valley star Kristen Doute took to social media to share a reaction.
“Finally,” she posted on her Instagram Stories.
Kennedy and Doute had a turbulent relationship chronicled in front of Vanderpump Rules cameras.
It was recently confirmed that Vanderpump Rules would be getting a reboot for Season 12 and cameras would be following a whole new cast working at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurants.
