Craig Baumgarten Joins Vault Entertainment As Manager/Producer

EXCLUSIVE: Vault Entertainment has added industry veteran Craig Baumgarten as a manager/producer.

The move reunites Baumgarten and Vault founder, Adam Griffin, who previously worked together. Baumgarten most recently was a partner at management/production company Wonder Street.

Baumgarten previously served as VP of Paramount Pictures, President of Keith Barish Productions, EVP of Production at Columbia, President of Lorimar Motion Pictures, and EVP of Twentieth Century Fox.  After leaving Fox, Baumgarten produced several films including Disney’s Blank Check, It Could Happen to You starring Nicolas Cage and Hook, directed by Steven Spielberg.  As a senior executive, Baumgarten oversaw production of many successful films over the years, including Sophie’s Choice, Ghostbusters and Die Hard.

Baumgarten, in partnership with Clay Epstein of Film Mode Entertainment, most recently produced Diablo for Grindstone alongside client Scott Adkins, who also stars in the movie. Last year, Baumgarten produced Samuel Goldwyn Films’ Trouble Man! featuring client Michael Jai White, who wrote, directed, and starred. He also recently produced Wanted Man, featuring client Dolph Lundgren, which was released earlier this year. Baumgarten also produced the Universal Soldier franchise, featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme alongside clients Adkins, Lundgren and White.

Additionally Baumgarten produces, along with client Alison Sweeney, Hallmark Channel’s A Hannah Swensen Mystery TV movie franchise, in which Sweeney also stars.

“I feel like I am just getting started,” Baumgarten said. “Getting to work again with Adam and the team of managers at Vault is really exciting.”

Launched by Griffin in 2019, Vault Entertainment has seen growth, recently promoting Tori Robertson to manager and hiring longtime talent agent Justin Baxter from A3 Artists Agency at the top of last year.  The management/production company expanded its office footprint, moving from Beverly Hills to its own building, now located near Sony Pictures.
