Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor have been really good friends for a long time. They have been doing an amazing job as actors and have done films together as well. They look really good on-screen. Varun recently impressed everyone with his performance in Baby John. The movie has been receiving mixed reviews. Many have showered praises on him while people have trolled him for the movie. The movie is produced by Atlee and directed by Kalees.
The movie also stars Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi in pivotal roles. The film also has a cameo by Salman Khan. Recently, Varun gave an interview where he spoke about his bond with Shraddha and shared an interesting story about their school time.
Varun and Shraddha’s childhood stories
In an interview, Varun Dhawan revealed that Shraddha Kapoor had a crush on him and proposed him. He said that he had rejected her proposal and he regretted it. He revealed that during Shraddha’s tenth birthday party he was beaten up and there were four guys who liked her.
They were playing jumping bag and the four guys surrounded him. They asked, “Why don’t you like Shraddha?” He then told them that he is interested in dance competition. They threatened then saying, “No, no, you will have to like her.”
They started fighting with Varun and were beating him. Varun shared that Shraddha got him beaten up because he was rejecting her proposal. Varun said that he also beat the boys and it was a filmy scene. He then won the dance competition and won it while Shraddha came third.
He further opened up about an incident when he regretted his decision of rejecting Shraddha. They were teenagers and they were in different schools. He added that there was a dandiya competition in Shraddha’s school and he went there where he saw Shraddha who looked very beautiful. He felt that he should have accepted her decision.
