In an interview with Hauterrfly, she has spoken about the various incidents where she faced sexual harassment. Ayesha Khan said she knew she was being exploited but could not speak out due to fear and other reasons. She admitted that she too had been propositioned by a casting director and agency when she was just starting out.

Ayesha Khan says casting director told her that even top Bollywood stars gave in to their demands

Ayesha Khan said years back she had joined an agency as a complete newbie. They wanted to do a photoshoot with her. It seems they got her three to four outfit changes out of which she had to wear a black netted top. Ayesha says she thought she did wear it with an inner but was told to skip it. It seems they kept on asking her if she is comfortable being clicked in a sheer garment. Ayesha Khan also said that agencies told her that even top stars like Madhuri Dixit faced such situations. She was quoted as saying, ” Whenever they approach you, they say, ‘Even Madhuri and other big stars did it like this.’ How are these people so successful today?”

Ayesha Khan opens up on being groped in an auto

She said she was once traveling in an auto, wearing a knee-length dress. This incident happened two years ago. It seems the auto driver told her that someone was following them from behind. Ayesha Khan said it was afternoon, and she saw it could be someone who was a fan of her Instagram reels. She said the man came close and tried to tough her thighs while she was in a moving auto. Ayesha Khan said it was truly traumatizing moment for her.

She also recounted an incident from the time she lived in Malad. It seems she had gone down on the road to buy sev puri. When she was returning, a man who looked elder than her father stopped his scooter by her side. Ayesha Khan thought he might be an acquaintance. When she turned around and said, “Yes, Uncle, tell me,’ the man passed a comment on her breasts.
