Diljit Dosanjh is currently ruling the headlines. The Punjabi singer is entertaining all with his Dil-Luminati tour. He is currently touring India conducting concerts that are filled with energy. From Delhi to Indore, Hyderabad to Rajasthan, his tour is a massive hit. Well, Diljit Dosanjh is famous for music but he is also a well-established actor. He has proved to be a prolific star with films like Chamkila, Good Newwz, Crew and many more. But did you know that there was a film in the making that had Diljit Dosanjh and Priyanka Chopra in the leading role? Filmmaker Boney Kapoor has made the big revelation.
In an interview with Zoom, Boney Kapoor spoke about Diljit Dosanjh and said that he is very proud of him. He also revealed that a fee years ago, he had a script for which he wanted to cast Diljit Dosanjh as Priyanka Chopra’s husband. This was before Priyanka Chopra moved to the States and appeared in Quantico. He said that Priyanka had loved the script too but for some reason the project could not take off. Boney Kapoor shared “For one year, one and a half years, two years, we waited for her. When I used to speak to her, she said, I have the script next to me, and every night I think of this and imagine myself. In that particular film, we wanted Diljit opposite her, and we had met Diljit and we had told him that you’ll be opposite her in the film, playing her husband.”
Boney Kapoor further added that though the film did not happen, he is happy to work with Diljit Dosanjh in No Entry Part 2.
Apart from his concerts and films, Diljit Dosanjh currently is in news also because of his alleged tiff with AP Dhillon. After Diljit wished AP Dhillon and Karan Aujla for their tours, the Brown Munde singer made a comment saying that Diljit has blocked him.
