Mirzapur 3 on OTT: Divyenndu Sharma shares the downsides of playing Munna Bhaiya
Munna was not a normal character. He was vile to the core and Mirzapur fans know it. Yet the power and the fame that Munna received after Mirzapur 1 and 2 was surprising. Divyenndu reveals how playing Munna affected him. The actor confesses that it affected his personality a lot. He feels people should not over-romanticize any character by going too deep into it. He says it is not easy. “At times it used to get really dark for me. I felt suffocated. It’s so tricky that you don’t even realise that you are in that zone. It’s only when you come out of it you realise how dark it was,” he shares with Humans of Bombay.
Apart from Ali and Pankaj, the series also stars Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Sheeba Chaddha and Anjum Sharma to name a few. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani dropped a hint about Mirzapur 3 probably coming on OTT in June or July.
