Back when the handsome hunk was promoting Rakshabandhan, he appeared on the TV show Star Parivaar. That is when Akshay Kumar met Rupali Ganguly and on stage shared that 30 years ago, the actress used to tie him a rakhi. She did so for consecutive five years. It was on this show that, after ages, Rupali Ganguly once again tied rakhi on Akshay Kumar’s wrist. He kneeled to touch her feet and take her blessings. The actress was deeply touched by this gesture and said that she will tie him a rakhi every year from now on.
Later, Rupali Ganguly shared pictures wearing a yellow saree. Apparently, the beautiful saree was given to her by Akshay Kumar as her rakhi gift.
