Bollywood rapper-singer Badshah grabbed headlines for an alleged traffic violation in Gurugram. Reportedly, the driver was driving on the wrong side of the road. The Gurugram police even shared the same on social media. Hours later, the Jugnu singer has reacted to these allegations and called them fake and defamatory.
Badshah denies violating traffic rules
Badshad’s team has issued a statement, which denied that he drove on the wrong side of the road. The singer had attended Karan Aujla’s concert in Delhi, NCR region, on December 15, 2024. The statement also mentioned that the rapper-singer was not driving any of the vehicles mentioned and called the accusations completely false. “We are issuing this statement to address recent defamatory reports and false accusations regarding a traffic incident involving Badshah following the Karan Aujla concert on December 15th, 2024, in the Delhi NCR region. These reports allege that Badshah was involved in a traffic violation, specifically driving on the wrong side of the road. We want to unequivocally state that this allegation is completely false,” the statement reads.
“On the night of the concert, Badshah was a passenger in a white Toyota Vellfire (Registration Number HR 55 AU 3333), a vehicle provided by Bakshi Transport Service Private Limited and driven by a licensed professional driver. Our transportation arrangements for the entirety of the event included a Toyota Vellfire and three additional Toyota Innova Crystas to ensure the safe and efficient transport of our team. Badshah was not operating any of the above-mentioned vehicles at any point during the alleged incident.” reads the stamen.
Further in this entertainment news, the statement also clarifies that no fines were issued to any vehicle associated by the rapper or his team that day. On the other hand, DCP Traffic Virendra Vij had said on the traffic violation matter, “Yes, we issued a fine for wrong-side driving involving Badshah’s vehicle. While the car is not registered in his name, Badshah was personally present in it.”
