Yes, the production recently announced the termination of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe. Shehzada and Pratiksha played the role of Armaan and Abhira. They were terminated for their unprofessional behaviour and the official statement by the makers said that Shehzada mistreated the staff on the sets. The statement also said that Pratiksha was not good with her work. It was later, reported that Shehzada and Pratiksha were dating and Pratiksha blindly followed Shehzada. She started misbehaving with people like Shehzada did. It was also being said that they spent a lot of time together in the makeup room causing delays in the shoot. Post their termination, Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani were introduced as the new Armaan and Ruhi/Roohi. They have been loved by the audience for their acting skills. Farman Haider was offered the role of Armaan in YRKKH

However, even before Shehzada Dhami, the role of Armaan was offered to someone else. Yes, speaking to Telly Masala, Saavi Ki Savaari actor Farman Haider revealed he was offered the role of Armaan before. Samridhii Shukla who plays the lead role of Abhira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was seen opposite Farman in Saavi Ki Savaari.

Farman revealed he was offered Armaan’s role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai but he rejected the role. He said that he had signed Aaina show and hence, he told the casting director of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai that he has already signed her show and cannot leave that in between.

He was also approached for the show again when Shehzada was terminated and Rohit was finalised. Farman said that he did get a call but not directly from the producer but through some co-ordinators. However, he said that he can only finalise things if he was free and cannot be leaving an already running show.

He also said that if he gets a chance again, he would love to join Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He further spoke about Shehzada, Pratiksha’s controversy. He said that only the actors and the production team knows the truth and no one else should comment on it.
