Dhanush and Aishwaryaa left fans in shock when two years ago, they announced their separation. While the couple have been living separately, they did not file for divorce immediately. Just recently, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and Dhanush decided to move ahead with the legal proceedings of separation and applied for divorce. And the latest reports state that the former couple has decided to end things amicably and on a good note. They do not want any ugly drama around their separation.

Dhanush and Aishwaryaa to proceed with an amicable divorce

A report in Hindustan Times states that the divorce will not be an ugly one as neither of them wants to fight in court or indulge in any sort of mud-slinging. Dhanush and Aishwarya have now made peace with the change of things and accepted the fact that they cannot be together. They both have only respect for each other and would go ahead with an amicable divorce. Dhanush and Aishwaryaa won’t fight the custody battle

Primarily, the custody of the children goes to the mother. Hence, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth will get custody of Yatra and Linga. Dhanush will not be contesting it. The focus is to sort things out calmly. Even if Dhanush is not contesting for custody, he will always be there for his children, states the report quoting a source. Dhanush and Aishwaryaa got married in 2004. They have two sons, Yatra and Linga, born in 2006 and 2010. The two of them announced separation in January 2022. And after healing from the separation, the duo have now decided to go ahead with the legal proceedings.

Talking about Dhanush’s work front, he was last seen in Captain Miller. He is now working on Raayan and Kubera to name a few. Raayan will be directed by Dhanush himself. The movie will also star Dushara Vijayan, and Kalidas Jayaram to name a few. Dhanush will be seen in Kubera, directed by Sekhar Kammula.
