Glen Powell is set to star in Homewreckers, an erotic thriller package that is out to studios. It’s based on a novella by Neil Paik, who is attached to adapt.
The plot revolves around Beth and Henry (Powell), a troubled couple struggling with the unraveling of their marriage, fueled by suspicion, emotional distance and regrets. As Henry becomes consumed by the idea that Beth is seeing someone else, she is offered a surreal opportunity to rekindle her love for a younger version of Henry through an advanced AI technology. Caught between their past and present, both must confront the emotional wreckage of their relationship as they teeter on the edge of love, betrayal, and self-destruction.
Powell most recently starred in action sequel Twisters with Daisy Edgar-Jones and opposite Sydney Sweeney in rom-com Anyone but You. His credits also include last year’s Hit Man and playing Hangman in the smash Tom Cruise sequel Top Gun: Maverick.
Paik is writing The Bombshell Bandit for Amazon MGM Studios and Atlas, with Priyanka Chopra set to star. He is set to make his feature directing debut with Windowshopper, based on his short story.
