Popular singer and rapper Honey Singh has spoken his heart out about rumours that Shah Rukh Khan had slapped him during a US tour. Well, during that time neither Shah Rukh Khan nor Honey Singh spoke about the same. As per reports, Honey Singh had to get stitches on his head as he was injured when SRK hit him. In a recent documentary made on his life, titled ‘Yo Yo Honey Singh’, the singer spoke about the same. Honey Singh narrated the entire incident and revealed what exactly happened and why he was not willing to go and perform on stage. He said, ‘Now, nine years later, let me tell you what really happened. Nobody knows what I’m going to tell you on camera now. Someone started the rumour that Shah Rukh Khan slapped me. He further continued saying, ‘When they took me to Chicago for the show, I said, ‘I don’t want to perform’. He added saying, ‘I was sure that I was going to die during that show. Everyone told me that I should get ready, but I refused. My managers came over, and they said, ‘Why aren’t you getting ready?’. I said, ‘I’m not going’. I went to the washroom, took a trimmer, and I shaved my hair off. I said, ‘How will I perform now?’ They said, ‘Wear a cap and perform’. There was a coffee mug lying there. I picked it up and smashed it on my head.’ He clarified and said that that is how he sustained his injuries. In his documentary, the rapper’s sister spoke about this incident and got emotional. She said, ‘I was in my room. He messaged that something is not right with me. He said can you come on Skype. And then he said, ‘Mujhe please bacha lo, gudiya mujhe please bacha le’. And then he disconnected. I was trying to reach out to (his ex-wife) Shalini. She said, ‘He has to do this show. You convince him to do this show’. I said I can’t. He told me that he isn’t feeling okay and that something bad is happening. For three hours, there was no contact with them. Three hours later, I’m told that he’s in the hospital with stitches in his head’.
