Is Kangana Ranaut joining politics due to a string of flops in Bollywood?

Yes, Bollywood did have a great 2023 but not all films that were released were well received. Kangana also has been having a dull time in Bollywood. Her last few releases didn’t perform as per expectations. Be it Panga, Dhaakad or Tejas, etc. Now, at the Times Now Summit, Kangana Ranaut was asked for her reaction to some people saying that she is joining politics because her films were not working and that she has gotten bored in Bollywood. Kangana Ranaut says that is not the case. The actress says that there is not an artist in this world who has only given all hits. She gives an example of the King of Bollywood saying, “Ab Shah Rukh Khan ki dus saa filme nahi chali phir Pathaan chali. Meri saat-aath saal nahi chali phir Queen chali.” After Queen, she had some good films but then again some did not work and then she bounced back with Manikarnika. Kangana is hopeful that her upcoming new movie, Emergency will work in cinemas. Kangana Ranaut talks about the last generation of stars and work

The Thalaivii actress says that with the OTT boom, web series and all there is plenty of work opportunity for actors and stars. Kangana says that OTT is not producing stars as such and that they all are known faces and feels grateful about being in demand for work. Kangana says that she just wants to “involve herself with the real world as opposed to just being consumed by the field of art.”
