Arti Singh talks about her arranged marriage

Arti Singh spoke to Etimes and said that the wedding is happening in Mumbai itself and the pre-wedding ceremonies will include Haldi, Mehendi. She also revealed that she and Dipak were introduced by private matchmakers. She further said that it is purely an arranged marriage and there was a courtship period as they wanted to get to know each other. She said that they spoke in July last year and met after August. Arti decided to commit to the relationship in November. However, they did not move ahead until their families approved it. She added that Dipak proposed her for marriage on January 1 this year at her Guruji’s temple in Delhi and that is her engagement day.

Arti feels blessed to have Dipak in her life

Arti further said that usually there are inhibitions when meeting someone in an arranged marriage setup but she did not feel any with Dipak. She said they have developed a strong friendship and he brings a calming influence in her life.

Arti feels blessed to have Dipak in her life and what she likes about their relationship is that she can be herself when she is with Dipak and his family. Dipak stays with his father and two sisters. Arti was further asked about their honeymoon plans.

She said that they haven’t decided it yet and her plan is to visit a temple after the marriage. She is also excited to set up their new home and that is more important to her.
