He spoke to Shubhankar Mishra on his podcast and said that music composer R. D. Burman was bigger than Mahatma Gandhi and R. D. Burman was the father of the nation in the world of music.
This was not enough and he made another big statement. Abhijeet Bhattacharya said that Mahatma Gandhi was the father of the nation for Pakistan and not India. He added that India already existed, Pakistan was carved out of India later and that Gandhi has been mistakenly called the father of nation for India. He also said that Gandhi ji was the one responsible behind the existence of Pakistan. This statement of his has got him into trouble. He has been trolled and everyone is calling his statements stupid. This statement is viral in entertainment news.
