EXCLUSIVE: Mayan Lopez has joined the cast of the supernatural film The Evilry.
The star of NBC comedy Lopez vs. Lopez joins the previously announced cast of Brec Bassinger Elena Kampouris (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Dylan Walsh (Blue Bloods, Superman & Lois), Tony Pierce (The Bodyguard), Evan Ross (The Loneliest Boy in the World), Marissa Reyes (Ganymede), Teri Polo (Meet the Parents franchise) and Faye Dunaway.
Bassinger leads the coming-of-age thriller, the plot of which is under wraps. Kampouris plays a visiting relative who harbors a dark secret.
Mayan is an executive producer on “The Evilry”. Her character in the film is Aimee, who runs a spiritual bookstore with Faye Dunaway’s character Anastasia.
Dunaway’s Anastasia, a spiritualist in the town, acts as a bridge of enlightenment coming to the aid of Crystal (Bassinger) guiding her to the revelation behind her cousin (Kampouris) and her Dark Secret.

The film begins production next month in West Virginia. Written and directed by Alexander Garcia, it is produced by Multi-Valence Productions, Anne Stimac, Allegheny Image Factory, ZaZa Rev Motion Pictures, Fabian Alomar, and Callosum Studios (The Black Phone).
The Coven (Terrifier 3) has picked up worldwide rights for the film.
Lopez is an executive producer, co-creator and co-star on the NBC sitcom Lopez vs. Lopez, which is currently in its third season. The show is based partly on her life with her father, actor and comedian George Lopez.
She is repped by The Independent Artist Group and The Michael Abrams Group. Garcia is also repped by The Michael Abrams Group.
