EXCLUSIVE: Mila Harris (Mary), double Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz, who starred in the original Broadway run of Wicked, and Katherine McNamara (Shadow Hunters) are among cast to have joined Justin Long and Kate Bosworth in survival thriller Coyote.
The project wrapped this week in Colombia. Also joining are Brittany Allen (Dexter: Original Sin) and Keir O’Donnell (Ambulance).
Long and Bosworth – who co-starred in both Barbarian and House of Darkness — are set to reunite for their first film since marrying last year. Pic follows a family fighting for their lives against a pack of crazed coyotes during a raging wildfire in the Hollywood Hills.
Colin Minihan directs from a story by Daniel Meersand and Nick Simon and Tad Daggerhart, with the script by Daggerhart and Simon.
Nathan Klingher and Ford Corbett produce for Gramercy Park, along with James Harris of Teashop Productions and Jib Polhemus of Source Management.
Capstone’s Roman Viaris and Ruzanna Kegeyan are executive producers alongside Jason Carpenter, Adam Mirels, Robbie Mirels, Tyler Gould, Michael Sklut, Nick Simon, Tad Daggerhart and Jijo Reed, plus Long and Bosworth. Capstone is handling sales.
