Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Development Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in building and nurturing strategic partnerships with banks and financial institutions around the world. Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Partnership Development: Cultivate and grow long-term relationships with banks across various regions, including Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.


- Networking: Establish connections with financial institutions in key financial hubs such as Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Dubai, Mauritius, Luxembourg, and Gibraltar.


- Client Engagement: Organize client meetings, review and edit pitch materials, and manage the timely exchange of NDAs and contracts.


- Documentation Management: Compile necessary documentation from partners in accordance with due diligence requirements.


- Communication Tracking: Maintain a comprehensive record of all partner communications and ensure timely follow-ups.


- Process Improvement: Identify and address inefficiencies in current workflows; assist in developing protocols to optimize operations and minimize execution risks.


- Risk Awareness: Understand and effectively communicate the risks and regulatory issues associated with financial institutions in major financial hubs.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in business development and networking within financial institutions, with a strong track record of success.


- Demonstrated expertise in establishing banking relationships for a digital asset or crypto company.


- At least 10 years of professional experience in banking or related industries.


- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to balance immediate priorities with long-term strategic goals.


- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills, with an understanding of leveraging electronic delivery channels to achieve business objectives.


- Effective and persuasive communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information clearly.


- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse teams across cultures.


- Solid business acumen, with a thorough understanding of partnership dynamics with banks and other financial institutions.
