• Qualifications
• Valid Class 5 Operator’s License.
  • Journey Certified Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) recognized in Alberta, Or 3rd or 4th year apprentice.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good, positive attitude, with the ability to accept last minute changes to schedule.
  • Indoor and outdoor work. Work outdoors in harsh weather conditions.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to work shift work (days/nights) as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift, up to 50lb
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision, be highly motivated, energetic, and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Due to hazards associated with the position this position is safety sensitive and subject to drug & alcohol testing; this includes pre access, post incident, reasonable cause .

  • Able and willing to work alone
  • Able and willing to work outside in the extreme cold or extreme hot conditions with PPE on. Adaptable to Northern Alberta weather.

  • Ability to pass a medical fit for work exam
  • Ability to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
