Job Description

• Operated mixers and managed ingredients to meet product quality and uniformity standards.
• Complete daily orders while adhering to company standards of quality, productivity, and appeal.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure standards of efficiency and quality are being met.
• When directed, sort berries to fill daily orders.
• Uphold attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure with constant deadlines.
• Follow designated area clean up procedures in preparation for the start of the next shift.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) .
• Attention to accuracy.
• Coordinate and tie ribbon specified by orders onto sealed and shrink-wrapped baskets.
• Run boxed baskets and flat packs through a tape machine to complete shipping preparation.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Uphold attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure with constant deadlines.
• Clean and sanitize equipment used during production to have inspected by quality assurance personnel.
• Quality Control of the product and removing any unsatisfactory product.
• Placing product into boxes, ensuring proper labeling, coding and packaging
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Availability to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills

Physical Demands of the Position

• Regularly required to stand and walk
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crawl and spend time making repetitive motions
• Moderate handling that demands crouching, stooping, reaching.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Environmental Factors

• Work is performed in a building that is well ventilated with moderate noise and good light
• Rolling conveyor and forklifts are present
• The packing process includes water and sanitation agents

Job Type: Seasonal

Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Work Location: In person
