Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated verbal tutor to join our team! This is a part-time, in-person position where you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and rewarding environment. As a tutor, you'll help students improve their skills in reading, writing, and SAT-level verbal content.

Consistent and Flexible Scheduling: You will have predictable bi-weekly pay without the need to travel to different locations. All tutoring is done at our center (with some potential for remote tutoring in select cases).

Compensation: $26/hr - $30/hr, depending on experience.

What We're Looking For:

Education: A bachelor's degree or higher is required.
Skills and Experience: Strong reasoning skills are essential, and you should be able to teach SAT-level material effectively. All applicants are required to take a sample SAT (Reading/Writing section) at our center and must score 700+ to tutor at the high school level.
Verbal Skills: Strong proficiency in critical reading, writing, and grammar principles is essential. A background in English or American literature, and literary interpretation, is a plus.
Passion for Teaching: A genuine love for working with young people and helping them succeed. Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not required.
