Technical Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users, resolving a wide range of hardware and software issues. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and maximizing user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to users via various channels, including in-person, phone, chat, and email.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to hardware and software.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify optimal solutions and best practices.
  • Advise users on appropriate procedures and best practices to prevent future issues.
  • Follow up with users to ensure complete resolution and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve POS hardware problems, including requesting replacements and overseeing installation at store locations.
  • Perform structured cabling tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications or education may be considered towards experience requirements.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues..
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Experience with networking is a plus.
  • General familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
