Pavitra Punia and Eijaz Khan were seen together in Bigg Boss 14. They initially had many ugly fights in the show. They abused and disrespected each other. But slowly, things began to change. They came closer and the bond grew stronger. They eventually became friends and then fell in love with each other. They were together for a long time and shared many pictures together. They even got engaged but soon announced that they have broken up. Pavitra recently spoke about their breakup in an interview.
She spoke to Telly Masala and indirectly called Eijaz ‘narcissist’. She said, “Hum dono ka aisa hogaya tha ke ek trime pe aake try kiya kiya, par nahi hua. Too much masculinity and too much feminity side ka bahut bada role play kiya tha is relationship ne.”
Eijaz was also accused of trying to convert Pavitra to Islam. However, Pavitra Punia said that religion was never an issue between them. She said that she had already clarified that she will not convert. But even after that Eijaz was being accused of trying to convert her.

Now, Eijaz Khan‘s spokesperson has reacted to this and shared a statement. The statement read, “Eijaz Khan belongs to a family where there are people from all religions, said the actor’s spokesperson after his ex-girlfriend Pavitra Punia’s recent remarks on conversion. The spokesperson further reiterated that the actor, who has spent over three decades in the industry, celebrates all the festivals and all religions; that is very evident from his social media accounts. It is also being addressed that such personal claims not only affect an actor’s personal life, but they face professional setbacks too.”
The spokesperson said that Eijaz’s father is hurt as he has been getting calls from his friends asking if their son asked his girlfriend to convert to Islam. Eijaz’s father was the happiest to know about him and Pavitra’s relationship. He added, “Religion was never the criteria in their relationship, but somehow it is being dragged now that it is over.”
The spokesperson also mentioned that Pavitra has already clarified that religion was never the reason for their separation. He added, “Eijaz has been to Tirupati Balaji and Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings during the release of his new projects, and such a claim has insinuated that he had brought up the topic.”
