It has become the fastest Indian film to cross that mark. It is now eyeing the beat Baahubail 2: The Conclusion. Prabhas’ film made around Rs 1810 crore worldwide. Given the pace at which Pushpa 2: The Rule is performing in the theatres, the target now appears quite achievable. If so, Allu Arjun-starrer will become the second highest grossing Indian film ever. The first remains to be Aamir Khan’s movie Dangal. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal had crossed the mark of Rs 2000 crore at the worldwide box office. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is entangled in a legal mess. A case has been filed against him after the stampede incident at Sandhya theatre. Allu Arjun along with his wife visited Sandhya theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4. As the crowd gather near theatre a stampede-like situation occurred. A woman lost her life in the incident. Her 8-year-old son had to be hospitalised. He is still recovering from the incident. Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 but was granted bail the same day on the bond of Rs 50,000. He was recently called in for questioning.
