Ae Watan Mere Watan is now on Amazon Prime Video. The movie stars Sara Ali Khan in the leading role. It is a historical drama based on Indian Freedom Fighter Usha Mehta. Sara Ali Khan is seen as Usha Mehta who began a secret radio station during the Indian freedom struggle. As the movie made it to OTT, fans started pouring in their reviews. The movie received mixed response from the audience. However, Sara Ali Khan’s aunt is mind blown by Ae Watan Mere Watan. She is also strong standing in defence of Sara Ali Khan over her performance. Sara Ali Khan finds a strong supporter in Saba Pataudi

Saba Pataudi commented on Karan Johar’s post to praise Sara Ali Khan. It so happened that Karan Johar made a post promoting Ae Watan Mere Watan. However, a follower raised concern over Sara Ali Khan’s acting and stated that he hopes she does not ruin the film. Saba Pataudi was quick to respond and stated that one should not judge without even watching the film. She also reviewed that Sara Ali Khan is ‘mashallah’ in the film. In another comment Saba Pataudi wrote, “She’s fabulous. Everyone simply nails their part n superb direction. A MUST watch! All you need to know about Ae Watan Mere Watan

Ae Watan Mere Watan is directed by Kannan Iyer. It skipped the theatrical releases as the makers opted to stream the film on the OTT platform. The movie also stars Emraan Hashmi. He is seen in the role of Ram Manohar Lohia. He has a cameo in the film but manages to leave an impact. A few hours ago, Sara Ali Khan also penned a long gratitude note thanking the director for giving her a chance to play Usha Mehta. “A story of bravery, sacrifice and strength- and a journey of self discovery, reinvention and reignited confidence. Only gratitude,” she wrote.

Prior to Ae Watan Mere Watan, Sara Ali Khan was seen in Murder Mubarak that had an ensemble cast of Vijay Varma, Pankaj Tripathi, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and others. The movie received mixed reviews from the masses. Murder Mubarak is on Netflix.
