EXCLUSIVE: Rachel Saltzman has been named partner at bicoastal management company Schachter Entertainment. A 12-year veteran of the firm, Saltzman focuses on TV, film and theater actors from her new base in New York City.
The company represents actors and writers in the US and the UK, including a strong roster of Broadway performers. Schachter Entertainment clients have been nominated for 18 Tony Awards, including winners Ali Stroker (Oklahoma!) and Brandon Uranowitz (Leopoldstadt). Nominees include Jeremy Jordan and Eva Noblezada (The Great Gatsby), Lauren Ridloff (Children of a Lesser God), Jared Grimes (Funny Girl), Carmen Cusack (Bright Star), Christopher Fitzgerald (Waitress), Kate Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!), Sean Allan Krill (Jagged Little Pill) and Lauren Worsham (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder).
Saltzman will continue to work alongside LA and NY-based company founder Ted Schachter, and LA manager Caleb Caudill. The company’s other Broadway stars this season include Isabelle McCalla and Paul Alexander Nolan of Water for Elephants and Grace McLean of Suffs.
Clients Jordan, Jason Gotay (Teeth) and Krill will star in Lincoln Center’s highly anticipated revival of Floyd Collins this spring.
Other clients include Jessica Frances Dukes, who’s currently starring in Earth Abides on MGM+. Johnny Link is a series regular on Netflix’s My Life With the Walter Boys. Writer/producer Joy Gregory is showrunner of Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart. Tracie Thoms remains a key member of the cast of ABC’s 9-1-1, and Gizel Jimenez heavily recurs on AppleTV’s Bad Monkey. Ridloff was a series regular on The Walking Dead and starred in Marvel’s Eternals, and Stroker was a series regular on Netflix’s Echoes.
