Shivam reveals feeling bad for Pratiksha Honmukhe

He shared, “I did not say anything wrong or bad regarding anyone. I just said that they learn from this and do good ahead. I was there for one and a half month and I feel bad for Pratiksha Honmukhe because she was new. If things were projected in the right direction, she had a good scope of shinning. I feel bad. I am hurt as things could have been avoided. But I just went on to say what I saw. Whenever something like this happens, people start blaming the production, the unit but in the backend whatever happened in front of me, I just shared that. It is not easy for the makers, unit, channel that two leads of a top show have been replaced. It is a big risk because just recently we all got the audience attracted to the story and now we will also have IPL coming up. So, such a big change at this time is not easy to do. But, I want the audience to understand that something must have happened and hence such a big step is taken. They should have faith in the show and there are many hardworking people. I hope we get through this. I also hope Shehzada and Pratiksha get through this and get something much better.”

He further added, “I felt bad I was misunderstood. I was feeling bad that the production was being bashed and I just said what I saw. I am not a politician to manipulate through my words. I have no benefit in saying anything about anyone. It won’t happen that because I gave this statement about Shehzada and Pratiksha then I would be called on set the next day. I have no benefit in this. I was just telling what my experience was. I only spoke about the one and half months I was there. I never spoke about what the rumours said. I have worked with the unit there and I know them. So, I said what I saw.”

Shivam Khajuria feels the Pratiksha’s role of Ruhi had many layers

He also spoke about why he feels bad for Pratiksha who played the role of Ruhi/Roohi. Shivam said, “It is unfortunate because it was a big opportunity and they are nice people. I have met them and shot with them. They were very nice to me but some things happened and the decision was taken. I just said that she was misled. I said that because she is a debutant and she was shown the right direction and was groomed well, she would have done great. I have seen the potential in her and she would groomed herself nicely, she would have been amazing. Ruhi is a character which has so many flavours. There is heartbreak, jealousy, love and everything else in that character. Every actor wants this kind of role and I feel it is an opportunity wasted. I just hope that they see things and analyse and rectify it and get back stronger in whatever show, projects they get.”
